The Upcoming 2020 Nissan Sentra
Though some of the specs are still being held close to the belt, Nissan is proud of its 2020 Nissan Sentra. This car has had a massive overhaul inside, outside, and under the hood. The sporty and clean look is very attractive, making it an enjoyable sedan for a family. This 2020 Sentra boasts a Nissan HR16DE Gen3 intelligent drive engine with Xtronic variable transmission. While exact specifications have yet to be released, this intelligent system is said to boost engine stability and fuel efficiency. It seems we will have to wait for the exact level of fuel efficiency. Still, there is plenty we do know about the latest Sentra model.
The 2020 Nissan Sentra was designed 55 inches wider than previous Sentra models. This wider stance gives the body a lower center of gravity which improves the handling of the car. The fact that it is lower to the ground and the body's shape makes it more aerodynamic than previous models. One thing they do not seem to be changing is the ability to get a stick shift model- something that makes a lot of Nissan lovers happy.
Along with the widening the car, designers chose to stretch out the length of the car as well. This makes the cabin spacious enough to comfortably fit five people. Occupants of the vehicle will have the pleasure of sitting atop 3D multilayer, ergonomically designed seats. This features makes the 2020 Sentra a great travel companion. There are three sporty interiors to choose from: black, light gray or tan interior. The tan interior also has a diamond cut quilting pattern on the seats that makes the already attractive interior look even better.
There are plenty of safety features that are great for anyone but will definitely come in handy with teen drivers. The forward collision warning system keeps an eye on the front for you, giving you the chance to stop. The blind spot warning system helps ensure that you are not moving over on another driver. The lane departure warning lets you know if you are starting to leave your lane without intention. It also comes with Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent Driving Alert. The Integrated Dynamic Control Module levels your car back out after it hits some type of hump or speed bump, getting you back to a smooth ride faster.
It provides an 8-inch infotainment screen and a 7-inch high definition monitor that clearly displays the drive information gathered from the car's sensor. The 2020 Nissan Sentra provides smartphone connectivity that you can access with ease. The Intelligent Voice Command helps keep your hands where they belong- on the wheel. Also aboard the dash is a triple air conditioning system, so that you can turn the vents to each side and the back of the car.
Like many other details, the price and any trims have yet to be announced. The Sentra is known as a budget-friendly car though. Previous models started at around $20,000, so it will not be surprising if the 2020 model is equally as affordable.
